Florida law enforcement has published body camera video showing a cooperative but seemingly disoriented Tiger Woods following his recent vehicle rollover on Jupiter Island.

The 50-year-old golf icon, wearing a blue polo and dark sunglasses, is seen kneeling quietly on the ground after crawling out of the passenger side of his wrecked car. "I looked down at my phone, and all of a sudden, boom," Woods explained to the responding officers in the newly released footage.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the golfer was driving fast and appeared distracted before he clipped a truck and flipped his vehicle. Fortunately, the collision resulted in no injuries.

Following the crash, authorities observed Woods exhibiting concerning physical symptoms. According to the arrest affidavit, the 15-time major champion was "sweating profusely" with "extremely dilated" pupils and "lethargic" movements. While he passed a standard breathalyzer test and denied consuming alcohol, authorities say he refused a required urinalysis to check for other substances.

When questioned about prescription medications, Woods admitted he had taken some earlier that morning. Officers searching the golfer discovered two white hydrocodone pills—a potent opioid painkiller—in his pocket. The video later captures Woods hiccuping as he is transported in the back of a police cruiser.

Woods has been formally charged with driving under the influence, property damage, and refusing a lawful test. He recently submitted a written not-guilty plea through his legal team.

The incident has prompted a massive shift in his legendary career. After a judge granted Woods permission to travel overseas for treatment, the athlete announced he is stepping away from professional golf indefinitely to prioritize his recovery. Consequently, he has also declined the invitation to captain the 2027 US Ryder Cup team in Ireland.

Fellow golf legend Sir Nick Faldo weighed in on the controversy, urging Woods to face the consequences of his actions. While expressing sympathy that Woods is "living 24/7 in pain," Faldo firmly stated, "This is a serious thing he's done," and criticized the PGA Tour's official response to the arrest as "predictably weak."
