Hailee Steinfeld Details Her, Josh Allen's First Days With Baby Girl
Hailee Steinfeld’s first days of motherhood have been a total touchdown.
After announcing on April 2 that she and husband Josh Allen had welcomed a baby girl together, the True Grit actress raved about life with their newborn.
“To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement,” Hailee wrote in her Beau Society Substack newsletter April 3. “I’m soaking in the newborn bliss.”
And it’s not just the Oscar nominee and the Buffalo Bills quarterback who are taking in every moment with the new baby. After all, Hailee’s family, including mom Cheri****Steinfeld, dad Peter****Steinfeld and brother Griffin****Steinfeld, are all ready to jump in whenever they’re needed.
"Cha Cha officially clocked in!!!" Hailee’s mom wrote under the Beau Society Instagram announcement April 2. Dad Peter added, "Pop Pop officially clocked in!!"
And Griffin proved he was ready for his own duties, writing, "Uncle Griffin officially clocked in!!"
Hailee and Josh—who tied the knot in May of last year—shared the news of their baby girl’s arrival to Hailee’s April 2 Beau Society Substack newsletter, saying, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Before announcing in December that they were expecting their baby, Hailee, 29, spoke candidly about how grateful she was to be starting a new chapter of her life with Josh, also 29.

“That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable,” she told Bustle in November. “I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Life makes sense. Everything makes sense.”
She continued, “I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
And Josh has been just as thrilled about not only fatherhood, but alsothe love he received from his NFL teammates.
“It’s been really cool,” he said in December. “It’s a special moment in [me and] my wife’s life.”
