The GenAISiS TRAIN project, a collaboration between Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen Science Centre, aims to equip educators with tools to teach young people about artificial intelligence, critical thinking, and digital literacy. Launched in January 2026, the initiative builds on earlier work that engaged school pupils in creating animated stories about ethical AI use.

The project, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and Responsible AI UK, will develop a train-the-trainer model for delivering resources on AI ethics, privacy, and responsible communication. Workshops at Aberdeen Science Centre will showcase how to use animated tools like Plotagon to make these topics accessible.
