Addison Rae made her solo debut at Coachella with a show she dubbed "The Fame and Glory Show," featuring a surprise appearance by dancer Maddie Ziegler during her performance of 'Aquamarine.'
Rae, who had previously appeared at the festival as a guest during other artists' sets, took the stage on April 11 for her own highly anticipated performance. Ahead of the show, she hinted at an evolution in her live performances, telling fans on Instagram, "This show is not really #TheAddisonTourShow anymore... it's #TheFameAndGloryShow."
The set opened with her breakout hit 'Diet Pepsi,' setting the tone for what was to come. The highlight arrived during 'Aquamarine,' when Rae welcomed Ziegler to the stage. The dancer joined Rae for the song's famous dance break, wearing a flowing white ensemble that contrasted sharply with Rae's bright red latex outfit.
Later in the set, Rae paid tribute to the day's headliner, Justin Bieber, by slipping on a version of his iconic purple hoodie during 'Headphones On.' She playfully engaged the crowd, asking, "You here for JB?" before adding during her 'Von Dutch' Charli XCX remix, "Just kidding, I'm here for Justin Bieber."
The performance marked a significant milestone for Rae, who had announced her debut album during Arca's Coachella set the previous year and appeared as a special guest during Charli XCX's 2025 festival performance.
