Monty Lopez, the father of TikTok star Addison Rae, has been granted a protective order against his estranged wife, Kaitlyn Lopez, after alleging she pulled a gun on him during a domestic dispute.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Monty claimed that Kaitlyn physically assaulted him multiple times throughout their relationship, including slapping and shoving him. He further alleged that Kaitlyn had a gun in her possession during their recent altercation, telling him it was "not for her."
The couple married in a Las Vegas ceremony in October 2025. Monty requested exclusive use of their shared home and financial support from Kaitlyn. The court approved the restraining order, requiring Kaitlyn to vacate the residence and stay at least 100 yards away from Monty. Both parties are scheduled to appear in court next month.
This incident follows a series of legal troubles for Monty. Police responded to the couple's home on April 23, and on April 28, Monty was arrested on a felony charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
