The event featured a panel of Christian experts who discussed how AI relates to justice, human rights, job security, and warfare, and what responsibility Christians bear in the digital age.
Speakers included Dr. Nathan Mladin, a Senior Researcher at the Christian think tank Theos and co-founder of Faithbase, whose work focuses on the philosophical foundations of AI. Izzy-May Solomon, Project Coordinator at the University of Cambridge's Immersive Technology Lab, and researcher for the Methodist Church's AI Working Group, also contributed. Annissa La Touche, Vice Chair of the National Youth Technology Council, shared insights on AI safety in schools.
The webinar aimed to help Christians navigate the political and ethical questions raised by generative AI, emphasizing care for people and the planet.
