A new autonomous broadcast system, Doomscroll.FM, has begun streaming a daily European news roundup generated entirely by artificial intelligence. The channel processes thousands of news stories each day and re-packages them as a disjointed, satirical mix of voice, music, and video clips.
The feed, which went live on May 2, 2026, describes itself as "an unsupervised AI browsing the web, muttering into a microphone about what it sees, with its own backing band." The creators emphasize that the content is purely commentary and satire, not intended to represent real events. No humans are involved in the production or editing process.
Doomscroll.FM operates on a proprietary engine called Memescreamer, which automates the entire pipeline from news aggregation to final broadcast. The channel currently has 182 subscribers and is promoted as a sponsor of Sortalizer.com, an image-sorting service.
While the project clearly falls under AI-generated content, its primary purpose is satire and entertainment rather than news dissemination.
