GMA Network is set to premiere a major new medical drama series titled "Code Gray," starring Alden Richards alongside Andrea Torres and Shuvee Etrata. The production, announced through Sparkle GMA Artist Center's social media channels, marks Richards' first foray into playing a doctor on screen.
"I've never done anything like that before in my career, and it's going to be the first again. I'm very excited because it's a very mature role. It's very serious—I'm just excited about the challenges that lie ahead," Richards shared in an interview with GMA News' "24 Oras."
The ensemble cast also includes Faith Da Silva, Kristoffer Martin, Jon Lucas, and veteran actor Christopher De Leon, among others. "Code Gray" is scheduled to air on GMA Prime, though an exact premiere date has not yet been disclosed.
In addition to this medical drama, Alden Richards is also slated to appear in the collaborative project "Love, Siargao" with Nadine Lustre, keeping the actor busy with diverse and challenging roles in the coming year.
