All 23 Northern Ireland Players Fit as Squad Gathers for Guinea and France Friendlies

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill has confirmed that every member of his 23-man squad has reported fit and ready as they prepare for two international friendlies. The team will face Guinea on Thursday in the Cadiz area of Spain (17:00 BST) before taking on World Cup-bound France near Lille on Monday 8 June (20:10 BST).

O'Neill, who recently signed a contract extension keeping him in charge until 2032, expressed his satisfaction with the squad's condition. "We've had all the players arrive into camp fit and well, which is exactly what you want ahead of an important international window," he said.

The squad includes uncapped teenagers Braiden Graham and Ceadach O'Neill, but several regulars are absent, including Dan Ballard, Paddy McNair, Terry Devlin, Eoin Toal, George Saville, and Brad Lyons.

These matches serve as preparation for Northern Ireland's Nations League campaign, which begins in September. O'Neill noted the positive mood in the camp: "There's a real sense of optimism as we prepare for the games against Guinea and France. The players are looking forward to testing themselves in two different but valuable fixtures."

The Guinea match will be held at Estadio Ciudad de La Linea, while the France game takes place at the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
