Alliance Select Foods Narrows Losses to $1.8M in 2025 Amid Revenue Growth and Cost Pressures

Alliance Select Foods International Inc., a global seafood supplier based in the Philippines, reported a reduced net loss of $1.8 million for 2025, improving from a $3 million loss the previous year. The company announced these figures on Tuesday, highlighting a 7.9% increase in revenue to $78.1 million, marking its third consecutive year of top-line growth.

Despite the revenue uptick, gross profit declined to $5.9 million from $8.04 million, driven by rising costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead, as well as increased interest expenses. The firm noted that margins remained under pressure due to these escalating costs and an unfavorable product mix.

Exports saw benefits from new markets and product lines, though frozen loin volumes dropped due to competition from China and Ecuador. Strong performance in canned and pouch segments, along with robust local business growth, helped offset weaknesses in other areas.

Looking ahead, Alliance Select warned of ongoing challenges in 2026, citing higher fish and transportation costs. The company stated it is actively addressing operational hurdles to navigate the difficult market conditions.
