Amanda Bynes Makes Musical Comeback, Inks Record Deal and Drops New Single with Hip Hop Star

Amanda Bynes, the former Nickelodeon star turned actress, is embarking on a new creative journey as she officially signs a record deal with Create Music Group. The announcement marks her debut as a recording artist, with her first single "Girlfriend" scheduled for release on April 10.

"'GIRLFRIEND' blends melodic rap with EDM-inspired production, creating a catchy, high-replay record with a smooth West Coast bounce. Built around a strong hook and confident, flirt-heavy energy, it's designed for repeat listens and wide playlist appeal," a representative from Create Music Group stated.

The track features a collaboration with Fenix Flexin from the Los Angeles-based hip hop collective Shoreline Mafia, infusing the song with authentic West Coast sounds and notable hip hop credibility.

Bynes first gained fame through her roles on Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show" before transitioning to successful film projects. In recent years, she has maintained a lower public profile while focusing on personal growth and artistic exploration. This music venture represents a significant new chapter in her multifaceted career, blending her entertainment background with fresh musical ambitions.
