AMD Color Sorter has unveiled new PE color and polymer sorting machines designed to remove impurities, solder joints, and aged materials from recycling streams. The advanced equipment employs optical sensors to identify and separate unwanted components, enhancing the purity of recycled plastics and polymers.
The machines target common contaminants found in post-consumer and industrial waste, including discolored particles, metal residues, and degraded polymers. By automating the sorting process, the technology aims to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor in recycling facilities.
AMD Color Sorter, a division of Anhui Zhongke Optic-Electronic Color Sorter Machinery Co., Ltd., offers a wide range of sorting solutions for grains, plastics, minerals, and more. The company reports having over 4,000 invention patents and 60,000 machines operating globally.
