The first full trailer for the upcoming comedy sequel Focker-in-Law has been released, but eagle-eyed fans have spotted a noticeable editing error that reveals Ariana Grande's stunt double during a key scene.
In the clip, Grande's character Olivia Jones and Ben Stiller's Greg Focker are shown racing bicycles, with Olivia taking a tumble. However, viewers quickly noticed that the person falling off the bike doesn't quite match Grande's appearance.
"The way you can see the stunt double in the bike fall scene—I can't," wrote one YouTube commenter.
Another fan noted on social media platform X: "the obvious stunt double is cracking me up lowkey."
The trailer, released on April 15, sets up the film's premise where Greg Focker becomes overprotective of his son Henry (Skyler Gisondo), who announces plans to marry his strong-willed girlfriend Olivia—mirroring the dynamic Greg once had with his own father-in-law Jack (Robert De Niro).
Despite the visible stunt double, many fans expressed excitement for the film's November 25 theatrical release. "Not a good look when you can see the stunt double in a trailer for a comedy movie," one fan acknowledged before adding, "Regardless, I'm seated cause I love the Fockerverse."
The trailer also features the return of Jack's infamous lie detector test from the original Meet the Parents film, this time administered to Olivia, who impresses the retired CIA operative with her responses.
Focker-in-Law joins a long list of films and television shows where editing errors have been caught by observant viewers, though this particular blunder appears prominently in the film's promotional material.
