Arnold Schwarzenegger and his longtime girlfriend, Heather Milligan, were spotted enjoying a rare date night at Japanese restaurant Nobu Malibu. The 78-year-old actor wore a gray sports jacket over a black sweater and blue jeans, while Milligan, 51, opted for a white blazer with gold buttons paired with a white top and black bottoms.
Though the couple has been together for over a decade, they prefer to keep their relationship low-key. Schwarzenegger has previously praised Milligan's dedication to her work, calling her "driven as hell." The pair first met when a doctor recommended Milligan for physiotherapy after Schwarzenegger's 2012 shoulder surgery. "One thing led to the next," he said.
Schwarzenegger's relationship with Milligan came after his split from Maria Shriver in 2011, following the revelation that he had fathered a son, Joseph Baena, with the family's former housekeeper. Reflecting on that difficult period, Schwarzenegger said he and Shriver have since become good friends and are proud of how they raised their children.
Schwarzenegger is now a grandfather to three children born to daughter Katherine and her husband Chris Pratt. He joked that being a grandparent is "the easiest thing," as he enjoys spending time with them before they leave after a couple of hours.
