Conglomerate GT Capital Holdings Inc.
MANILA, Philippines – GT Capital Holdings Inc. has donated a 15-hectare property in Cavite for the future campus of Ateneo de Manila University, marking a major addition to the conglomerate’s growing Riverpark township development in General Trias City.
In a disclosure on Tuesday, the Ty-led firm said the donated land parcel would host a new Ateneo campus aimed at bringing “holistic and world-class education” closer to students living in southern Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

The deed of donation was signed on May 11 at GT Tower International in Makati City. The move followed the memorandum of agreement signed by the two parties in October 2025 as part of efforts to expand access to quality education in Cavite.
The planned campus will rise within Riverpark, the largest township project under GT Capital’s wholly owned property arm Federal Land Inc. and its joint venture Federal Land NRE Global Inc. (FNG).
GT Capital said the new Ateneo campus would complement other developments taking shape within the township, including the Uniqlo logistics facility launched last April and the upcoming SM City General Trias mall.
The company added that commercial lots at Riverpark North were also being positioned as a future lifestyle destination as infrastructure projects improve access to the area.

Among these infrastructure projects are two interchanges linked to the Cavite-Laguna Expressway: The Open Canal Interchange targeted for completion in 2026 and the Riverpark-General Trias Interchange slated for 2027.

The Cavite campus project comes as major developers continue to expand integrated township developments outside Metro Manila, particularly in growth corridors benefiting from new transport infrastructure.
