Autopsy Reveals Gruesome Details in Celeste Rivas Homicide Case

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has officially determined the cause of death for Celeste Rivas, ruling it a homicide resulting from multiple penetrating injuries.

According to the autopsy report, Rivas sustained two distinct wounds to her torso. One, measuring approximately three-quarters of an inch long and 1.5 inches deep, penetrated her upper abdomen and liver. The second, a nine-sixteenths-inch wound two inches deep, entered her left chest, disrupting the space between her ribs. The report notes the wounds have smooth edges that "may represent sharp force injuries."

"The M.E. says there are '2 penetrating wounds of the torso with smooth edges that may represent sharp force injuries.'"

Additional injuries documented include multiple superficial abrasions on her right hand and the amputation of her left ring and pinky fingers. Notably, her right pointer finger, which bears a "Shhh" tattoo, was found intact.

The report also details the condition of the remains, which were described as badly decomposed, with the head partially skeletonized and the left eye absent. Rivas's body was discovered inside a black body bag and a black trash bag located in the Tesla belonging to the individual known as D4vd.

Toxicology findings present a complex picture. An initial screening returned a "presumptive positive" for methamphetamine and MDMA, but a subsequent test found methamphetamine results inconclusive and did not detect MDMA. The report suggests alcohol may have been present in her system but did not contribute to her death.

The official homicide ruling confirms earlier reports from law enforcement sources. Prosecutors have alleged that D4vd murdered Rivas with a sharp instrument.
