Bam Margera Skips ‘Jackass’ Finale Premiere Despite Receiving Invite

Bam Margera will not attend the Hollywood premiere of Jackass: Best and Last, despite receiving an invitation to the event. Sources close to the former star tell TMZ that Margera has a prior commitment and is also not emotionally ready to reunite with the cast, particularly Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine, following a bitter fallout.

Margera was fired from the previous Jackass film in 2021 after allegedly violating his contract’s sobriety clause. He later sued Paramount, Knoxville, and Tremaine for wrongful termination, settling the lawsuit in 2022.

Although Margera won’t be at the premiere, his parents, Phil and April Margera—fan favorites from the franchise—are expected to attend. Earlier this year, TMZ reported that Margera struck a deal allowing producers to use never-before-seen footage of him in the upcoming film, which combines new stunts with classic archival material.

In a statement, insiders say Margera is rooting for the movie’s success, even as he keeps his distance. The film is set to hit theaters next month.
