Rene Baterbonia, a former star for the University of the East Red Warriors, passed away recently, leaving his family in deep mourning. In an interview, his father expressed the profound loss he feels, especially as the holiday approaches.
"Every day is hard, but Father's Day makes it even harder because it's a day for families to come together," the elder Baterbonia said. "I miss him so much. The pain is truly unbearable."
The elder Baterbonia recalled cherished memories with his son, from his childhood to his basketball career. He urged others to treasure their loved ones while they are still around.
