Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs, known for their journey on Bachelor in Paradise, have welcomed their second child together—a baby boy named Steven Jon. The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, announcing his arrival on Easter Sunday.
"Our little honey baked ham arrived on Easter Sunday," they wrote in their post. "He’s made our family whole and we love you more than you will ever know."
In a touching tribute, Becca revealed that the baby's name honors her late father, Steve Kufrin, who passed away from brain cancer in 2009. "One day I’ll be able to tell you where your name came from…after one of the greatest men I’ve ever known," she shared. "Someone you’ve never met but who would have loved you more than anything in this world. We can’t wait for the adventures of Benny and Stevie, we love you so much, our boys."
The couple celebrated the announcement with a playful Halloween-themed video, featuring Becca in a witch costume and Thomas in a skeleton shirt as they cast a spell over a cauldron with their first son, Benson. The clip included an ultrasound reveal and a shot of Benson in a skeleton onesie next to a jack-o’-lantern labeled "Big Brother."
Becca humorously noted her exhaustion in an Instagram Story, writing, "I must say I am the SLEEPIEST girl you've ever met." She joked, "I think this baby might be part vampire, sucking the life outta me."
Since welcoming their first child, Becca has been open about her experiences with postpartum depression. In a recent interview, she reflected on the challenges, saying, "I was not prepared for the lack of sleep, the ever-changing hormones, the breastfeeding and the pumping journey. It definitely took a toll on me, especially those first couple weeks and months. I honestly feel like I blacked out and was just in a fog."
She credited Thomas for his support during that time, adding, "He was going through everything else with me, which really, really helped." Becca described moments of heightened anxiety, noting she would cry "five times a day, every day" initially. "I’ve always had anxiety throughout my life, but it was just on a whole new level now that I had another human to take care of," she explained.
Despite the struggles, Becca expressed gratitude for her family, stating, "It’s been a wild ride, but it’s also been the biggest blessing of my life. I can’t imagine my life without my Benny. I’ve learned to let go of the reins a little bit and be able to ask for help."
She also shared her admiration for Thomas as a father, gushing, "To see Thomas become a dad is such a beautiful moment. He was my best friend and my love before we had Benson, but now it’s just so much deeper because it’s a whole different level of that bond and that intimacy when you have a little one."
The couple, who married in 2023, have embraced parenthood with openness and humor, marking this new chapter with their growing family.
