A transport vessel used in the production of the hit reality show "Below Deck" erupted in flames on the open ocean Friday, and the frightening moment was captured on video.
The fire broke out near Mo'orea, an island close to its more famous neighbor, Bora Bora. Witnesses on the scene reported seeing the small boat engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, according to sources familiar with the incident.
The vessel that caught fire was not one of the show's iconic luxury yachts, but a tender boat — a smaller craft used to ferry passengers from the mega-yacht to shore. While not as expensive as the main yachts, these tenders still carry a hefty price tag.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
