Ben Youcef is speaking out after his engagement to Sandra Lee ended, delivering a message of gratitude and forward-looking optimism.
In a statement to TMZ through his representative, Brandon Cohen of BAC Talent, Youcef said: "Over the past 5 years Sandra Lee and I shared a beautiful chapter together. We traveled the world, created unforgettable memories and experienced life in a way I will always be grateful for. She is an extraordinary person and I will always have nothing but respect and admiration for her."
He added that his current focus is on his acting career and raising his 10-year-old twins, calling them his "pride and joy." He concluded by wishing Lee "all the happiness and success the world has to offer."
Lee also broke her silence earlier this week on Instagram, describing the split as "not an easy or quick decision" and expressing "nothing but respect" for Youcef.
TMZ previously reported that the couple called off their five-year engagement, with Lee's representative confirming she ended the relationship. The news came after a recent sighting in New York City where Lee avoided questions about wedding plans and notably was not wearing her engagement ring—a detail that sparked widespread speculation.
Lee and Youcef began their relationship in early 2021 and became engaged later that year.
