In an exclusive interview, Blippi, the beloved children's entertainer played by Ben Mayer, opened up about his genuine friendship with fellow YouTube sensation Ms. Rachel (Rachel Accurso). The two stars, who both create educational content for young audiences, have formed a bond built on mutual respect and shared passion for teaching.
"Ms. Rachel and I are really good friends," Blippi revealed. "She's awesome. She teaches so many great things to little kids that I also teach to, so she is an awesome resource."
The friendship extends beyond casual admiration, with the pair occasionally collaborating on content. Their 2023 fire truck song became a viral hit, but Blippi emphasized that their connection runs deeper than just professional partnerships.
"She is so lovely and so sweet and she's just such a good person," he said of the New York-based educator.
Blippi also spoke about his close working relationship with frequent costar Meekah (Cashae Monya), describing her as a calming influence who helps him maintain balance during their energetic productions.
"I get really excited sometimes, as you can tell, and sometimes I can get a little ahead of myself," Blippi admitted. "She is a great person to say, 'Hey, maybe we should think about this for a second, and maybe we should learn from our mistakes.'"
The entertainer and Meekah are preparing for a special appearance at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 19, where they'll perform their new song "Go, Go, Go," read stories, and sign books for young fans.
