Body camera footage has surfaced showing reality star Dakota Mortensen speaking with police weeks after a reported February 2026 incident involving his ex-partner, Taylor Frankie Paul. The video, obtained exclusively by TMZ, captures Mortensen calmly guiding Draper Police Department officers around his visibly damaged truck while holding his young son, Ever.
In the footage, Mortensen points out dents and scratches on the driver's door, allegedly detailing events from the altercation. The incident is connected to reported fights between Mortensen and Paul that led to production being paused on their reality show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Mortensen claims Paul choked him during a dispute at her home and later attacked him inside his truck. This development follows the Salt Lake County District Attorney's recent announcement declining to file criminal charges against Paul. However, it remains uncertain when filming for the reality series will resume.
The couple continues to be embroiled in legal battles over restraining orders and custody of their son.
