The first trailer for Bravo's upcoming spinoff series In the City has dropped, and it's already sparking major drama. The preview, released on April 7, puts the spotlight on Amanda Batula and West Wilson as they share a flirtatious moment while Amanda's marriage to Kyle Cooke appears to be unraveling on camera.
In the teaser, Amanda greets West with a casual "Hey, cutie," to which he responds, "Hey, Mandy," before the two share what looks like more than just a friendly hug. This interaction comes just weeks after Amanda confirmed in March that she and West are dating following her separation from husband Kyle Cooke.
Meanwhile, the trailer doesn't shy away from showing the tense breakdown of Amanda and Kyle's relationship. In one heated exchange, Amanda confronts Kyle about infidelity, asking pointedly, "Do you know how many times you've cheated on me?"
The conflict escalates as the couple debates their future without a prenuptial agreement. When Amanda warns, "If you come for me, I'll come for you," Kyle retorts, "That would be a losing battle," leaving Amanda to question, "Are you threatening me?"
This on-screen drama follows the real-life announcement of Amanda and West's relationship on March 31. The pair released a joint Instagram statement explaining, "We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship."
Kyle Cooke has publicly expressed his displeasure with the new relationship, calling it a "wild betrayal" in an April 2 TikTok video. "He basically threw his friendship with me away in one clean swoop," Kyle said of West. "What happened to bro code?"
The situation is further complicated by the fact that West previously dated Amanda's close friend and Summer House costar Ciara Miller. Their relationship began during season eight filming in 2023 but ended by year's end, creating ongoing tension within the group.
Amanda and Kyle announced their separation in January 2026 after four years of marriage, stating they had "mutually and amicably decided to part ways" while asking for privacy during their healing process.
In the City, which premieres May 19 on Bravo, promises to deliver all the messy relationship dynamics and dramatic confrontations that fans have come to expect from the Summer House universe.
