Britain's Political Turmoil: Six PMs in a Decade, Starmer Faces Party Revolt

In the decade since Britain voted to leave the European Union, the country has cycled through six prime ministers, undone by their own decisions and global pressures. Now, Sir Keir Starmer, the current prime minister and leader of the left-leaning Labour party, could become the seventh to fall, under fire from his own party members who accuse him of failing to address the cost of living, immigration, and sluggish economic growth.

Recent local elections dealt a severe blow to Labour, which lost ground to populist parties on both the left and right. Just two years after a landslide victory, some within Starmer's own party are calling for his resignation.
