Building Multilingual mRNA Models for Just $165

Researchers have developed a cost-effective method to train mRNA language models across 25 different species, achieving results comparable to expensive proprietary systems for only $165. By leveraging efficient data sampling and lightweight architectures, the team demonstrated that high-quality genomic language models don't require massive budgets.
