A bus conductor was injured in a crash involving two buses along the EDSA Busway in Quezon City on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred near the Kamuning station around 9:30 a.m., according to a report from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). The conductor, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening.
Initial investigations suggest one bus rear-ended another while navigating the busway, causing damage to both vehicles. Passengers were safely evacuated, and traffic flow was temporarily affected as authorities cleared the scene.
The MMDA reminded bus operators and drivers to exercise caution and maintain safe distances to prevent such accidents on the dedicated bus lanes.
