Cardi B has filed a legal request seeking sanctions against blogger Tasha K, alleging repeated violations of a non-disclosure agreement by discussing the rapper's personal relationships.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Cardi B claims Tasha K has engaged in a "relentless course of conduct designed to target and harass [Cardi] and her family through thinly veiled commentary and strategic provocation." The documents state that Tasha K's audience of over one million social media followers can easily identify Cardi B as the subject of these discussions.
Cardi said that when her legal team, led by attorney Lisa Moore, notifies Tasha of offending posts, she quickly deletes them, only to post another soon after. The rapper said she is tired of the "cat and mouse" game.
The legal filing comes as part of an ongoing defamation battle between the two women. Tasha K reportedly owes Cardi B $4 million as part of their settlement agreement, which was incorporated into the blogger's bankruptcy plan. Cardi B alleges that Tasha K has violated this agreement by continuing to discuss her personal life.
Court documents indicate at least 25 alleged violations, including discussions about Cardi B's ex-husband Offset and his recent shooting incident in Florida, as well as references to her "then-romantic partner" Stefon Diggs during podcast appearances.
Cardi B is requesting sanctions for each future violation and asking the court to order Tasha K to immediately cease discussing her or her family members on any platform.
