Legendary comedian Carol Burnett marked her 93rd birthday with a rare public appearance at Lucky's steakhouse in Montecito, California, on April 26. Accompanied by her husband of 25 years, Brian Miller, 70, the actress opted for a chic yet comfortable ensemble of black slacks and a long white textured jacket, while Miller looked dapper in a dark gray suit.
Despite being in her 90s, Burnett shows no signs of slowing down. She recently appeared in the series Palm Royale and Hacks, and in a 2024 interview with E! News, she shared her secret to staying active: "Be glad you're still around and you still have all your faculties." Reflecting on her seven-decade career, the advice she would give her younger self is simple: "Don't give up."
Burnett's passion for entertainment was sparked early in life. Growing up in Hollywood, she would join crowds at movie premieres with her grandmother. "We would go and stand behind the ropes and watch Lana Turner get out of her limousine," she recalled in a recent interview with People. She added that a kind encounter with actress Linda Darnell at age 9 shaped how she treats her own fans. "You just pass it on or pay it forward because it means the world."
