Drum and bass legends Chase and Status are the latest music stars to join the cast of the upcoming James Bond video game 007: First Light, developer IO Interactive has announced.
The duo follows DJ Dimitri Vegas, who was revealed earlier this month with a remix of the iconic Bond theme. Chase and Status will appear in a high-energy club sequence where Bond must navigate flashing lights, crowds, and a thumping sound system blasting one of their remixes.
"From underground beats to high-stakes espionage, get ready to turn the speakers up," IO Interactive wrote on social media, sharing an image of the pair performing in-game.
A blog post from the developer explained: "Their arrival lands in the middle of a packed club sequence... It's a modern pop-culture touchstone that keeps Bond in step with the world around him."
The game already boasts an impressive roster, with Lana Del Rey teaming up with Bond composer David Arnold for the theme song 'First Light', and Lenny Kravitz playing antagonist Bawma, The Pirate King.
007: First Light launches on May 27 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release expected later this summer.
