Chelsea Football Club has parted ways with manager Liam Rosenior after a disastrous three-month tenure that saw the team lose five consecutive matches.
Rosenior was appointed in January to lead the Premier League giants, but his brief stint ended abruptly following a string of disappointing results. The club, which recently won the FIFA Club World Cup, has struggled to maintain its winning form under his leadership.
"The decision was made after careful consideration of the team's recent performance," a club spokesperson stated. "We thank Liam for his efforts and wish him well in his future endeavors."
The search for a new manager is expected to begin immediately as Chelsea looks to salvage its season and return to winning ways.
