Cheshire Police Question Members of Religious Group Over Forced Marriage and Slavery Claims

Police in Cheshire are investigating allegations of sexual abuse, forced marriage, and modern slavery linked to a religious community. A large-scale operation involving 500 officers led to the arrest of ten individuals this week. Raids were carried out on properties associated with the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (Arpol), including its base at Webb House. Authorities believe around 150 people reside at the site. The investigation was prompted by a former member of the group who came forward with claims.
