Maria Avila, the former housekeeper of Chris Brown, is fighting in court to show graphic photographs of injuries she sustained during a dog attack at the singer's home in 2020. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Avila is opposing Brown's attempt to block the images from being presented as evidence in their upcoming trial.
Avila argues that the photos are crucial to demonstrate the severity of her injuries, the pain and suffering she endured, and the emotional distress resulting from the incident. She contends that without the images, it would be difficult for her to prove the extent of her damages.
The trial is scheduled to begin on June 15, with Avila seeking $90 million in damages. Ahead of the trial, Brown has also filed motions to prevent Avila from mentioning his past arrest for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The judge has yet to rule on that matter.
