Cody Rhodes Dreams of Wrestling on a Decommissioned Aircraft Carrier

Cody Rhodes has a vision for a WWE event that would rival boxing at the pyramids or MMA at the White House. In an exclusive interview with TMZ Sports, the American Nightmare revealed his dream match location: a decommissioned aircraft carrier.

Rhodes, who was signing autographs in New York City, recalled the iconic 1993 moment when Lex Luger body-slammed Yokozuna on the USS Intrepid. He told TMZ Sports he'd love to recreate that spectacle, calling it an epic idea for WWE to give fans a unique experience.

"It would be incredible to have a match on a decommissioned aircraft carrier," Rhodes said. "That's the kind of side quest that makes wrestling memorable."

When asked about the New York Knicks reaching the NBA Finals, Rhodes credited their success to both a strong team and the so-called "Danhausen effect." He also teased his upcoming "Street Fighter" movie, set for release later this year, promising fans will love it.
