Courtney Stodden is undergoing breast reduction surgery, calling the procedure a powerful step toward reclaiming her body after years of public scrutiny tied to her traumatic past.
The model and reality star shared an emotional Instagram post on the 15th anniversary of her marriage to actor Doug Hutchison, whom she wed at age 16 when he was 51. The controversial union, legal in Nevada with parental consent, left her feeling that her body was never truly hers.
"For the first time in my life, my body feels like it belongs to me instead of the public that consumed it before I even became a woman," Stodden wrote.
A source close to Stodden tells TMZ the surgery will reduce her breast size but keep them "still a handful." She originally received implants in 2013, when she turned 18, as a way to feel more womanly amid the trauma of her early marriage.
Stodden's decision marks a significant shift in how she views her own worth — focusing on self-acceptance rather than external validation.
