Courtroom Clash: Taylor Frankie Paul Accused of 'Character Assassination' Against Dakota Mortensen

In a dramatic courtroom confrontation, Dakota Mortensen's attorney has accused reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul of attempting to "assassinate" his client's character during a recent hearing over custody and restraining order matters.

Attorney Joel Kittrell told media outlets that Paul's legal team engaged in what he described as a character assassination campaign against Mortensen as a father. "Her only concern is for the welfare of their son, Ever," Kittrell stated, adding that they "look forward to telling the true story" at the next scheduled court date on April 30th.

The legal battle stems from Paul's recent restraining order filing in a Utah court, where she presented photographs of injuries allegedly sustained during incidents in May 2025 and February 2026. The filing also accuses Mortensen of stalking, assault, and becoming "increasingly possessive" ahead of her now-canceled debut as "The Bachelorette."

During Tuesday's hearing, a judge granted Paul eight hours of supervised visitation with their two-year-old son, Ever. The case continues to unfold as both parties prepare for the next phase of legal proceedings.

"We look forward to the 30th to tell the true story," said Mortensen's attorney, Joel Kittrell.

The former couple, who starred together on "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," have been embroiled in legal disputes since their separation, with both sides making serious allegations against the other. The case highlights the increasingly contentious nature of celebrity custody battles playing out in public courtrooms.
