Cowboys Legend Irvin Hails 'Game Changer' Caleb Downs, Predicts Super Bowl Glory

Cowboys legend Michael Irvin is fired up about Dallas' first-round draft pick, and he's not holding back his Super Bowl predictions.

Just mention Caleb Downs' name, and Irvin lights up. The Hall of Fame receiver told TMZ Sports that the Cowboys knocked it out of the park by selecting the Ohio State safety, whom he calls a "bad dude" and a "game changer."

"We're happy about that," Irvin said. "Boy a bad boy, now. That's a bad dude. He is a game changer. He is one of the few right now in the game that plays like that dude Kyle Hamilton from the Ravens. That's the kind of safety -- plays all over the field and makes a difference all over the place. So I'm happy about it."

Irvin, who had urged the Cowboys to focus on defense during Super Bowl week, believes the addition of Downs puts Dallas over the top. "We're going to win it all this year!" he declared.

The Cowboys selected Downs with their first-round pick, addressing a key need in the secondary. Irvin's enthusiasm reflects the belief that the team is now poised for a championship run.
