Cruz Beckham Drops Uplifting Anthem 'Waste Your Pain' Ahead of Major Festival Run

Cruz Beckham has officially released his new single 'Waste Your Pain,' an optimistic track that marks his latest musical offering. The singer-songwriter, who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham, teased the song during his recent tour before making it available to the public.

The song centers on themes of self-acceptance and moving forward, built around a bright, fast-paced guitar riff that leads into an unapologetically feel-good chorus. Beckham delivers lyrics that emphasize liberation and fresh starts, singing: "I ain’t gonna waste my pain on you/ Unless you’re gonna waste your pain on me. I can finally see us moving on/ Us being free/ At last."

Produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, who have worked with artists like Kim Gordon and Charli XCX, the single also comes with a music video inspired by the 1983 film Risky Business, adding a free-spirited visual element to the release.

Beckham launched his music career last year with the debut double A-side 'Optics' and 'Lick The Toad,' followed by the romantic indie single 'For Your Love.' With 'Waste Your Pain,' he continues to carve out his place in the music scene alongside his band, The Breakers.

The release comes as Beckham and The Breakers prepare for a busy summer of performances, including sets at major festivals like Reading & Leeds and Lollapalooza.
