The legal drama surrounding The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter’s boyfriend, Travis Mullen, has reached a boiling point. In an increasingly hostile custody battle, Mullen is leveling serious allegations against his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen, claiming she has skipped mandatory drug tests.
According to recently surfaced court documents, Travis is actively fighting to secure permanent sole custody of the former couple's three minor children. He alleges that Meghan has not only dodged multiple court-mandated drug screenings but has also failed to meet the basic everyday needs of their kids.
The animosity between the two, who originally separated in 2016, escalated dramatically over the past year. In early 2025, Travis accused his ex of withholding one of their sons from him for over a month, which reportedly caused the child to rack up excessive absences at school. Consequently, a judge granted Travis sole custody in November 2025, restricting Meghan to monitored visitation.
Now, as Travis pushes to make that sole custody arrangement permanent, Meghan is fiercely fighting back. She has vehemently denied his recent accusations, arguing that her ex-husband is intentionally weaponizing the family court system to manipulate her.
"Travis continues to misuse the court process to get his way," Meghan stated in her legal response. "His filings appear intended to punish and control me, not to protect the children. Travis is using the family court system as a tool of coercive control and retaliation."
