Brazil's Labor Day holiday on Friday is set to experience a dramatic weather change as a cold front, driven by an extratropical cyclone and a polar air mass, sweeps in from the south. In Porto Alegre, temperatures are expected to drop to a minimum of 11°C. Meanwhile, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro will start the holiday with highs above 30°C, but São Paulo's maximum will soon decrease as the front moves northward.
