Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has officially confirmed his separation from Sarah Jane Ramos in recent court filings, nearly a month after the couple called off their planned wedding in Italy.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Prescott referenced the end of their relationship as both parties focus on co-parenting their two young daughters: two-year-old MJ and 11-month-old Aurora.
In the legal filing, Prescott specifically requested that he and Ramos be appointed as "joint managing conservators" of their children. The papers state: "The parents of the children are separated. The appointment of the parents as joint managing conservators would be in the best interest of the children. It is in the best interest of the children that [Prescott and Ramos] be appointed joint managing conservators of the children."
Sources indicate that despite the breakup occurring just weeks before their scheduled wedding, both sides are reportedly satisfied with how the separation has been handled and are committed to maintaining a peaceful co-parenting relationship moving forward.
