Dakota Johnson and musician Role Model were spotted sharing affectionate moments during a recent evening in Los Angeles, fueling speculation about their relationship status. The couple, first linked romantically in December, appeared cozy as they spent time together in the Los Feliz neighborhood on April 3.
Witnesses observed the pair exchanging a goodbye kiss outside an office building earlier in the day. Later that evening, they continued to display public affection outside Little Dom's restaurant, where they were seen smiling and embracing. Johnson, 36, wore a green cardigan and dark pants, while Role Model (real name Tucker Pillsbury), 28, sported casual attire including boot-cut jeans and a camouflage baseball hat.
This sighting follows previous public appearances together, including holding hands during a January date night and attending Paul McCartney's Los Angeles concert on March 28.
The outing comes shortly after Johnson's mother, actress Melanie Griffith, publicly endorsed the relationship. In a video shared by gossip blog Deuxmoi on April 5, Griffith responded with a single word when asked about her daughter's romance: "Fabulous." She added, "Of course [they] do," when questioned about giving her approval.
Johnson's relationship with Role Model marks her first public romance since ending her eight-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin last year. Role Model previously dated influencer Emma Chamberlain from 2020 to 2023, citing homesickness and a desire to return to his native Maine as factors in their separation.
