Deep Mistrust Blocks US-Iran Negotiations, Says Iranian Foreign Minister

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that a profound lack of trust between Tehran and Washington remains the primary obstacle to any meaningful negotiations. Speaking to reporters, Araghchi emphasized that historical grievances and broken promises have created an atmosphere of suspicion that neither side has been able to overcome. He noted that while Iran remains open to dialogue, the US must demonstrate sincerity and commitment through concrete actions, not just words.
