The meetings, which took place in Seoul, involved Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won. Discussions centered on potential collaborations in advanced AI models, semiconductors, robotics, and memory technology.
Industry observers note that Hassabis's visit comes at a critical time when the global AI race is intensifying. Korean conglomerates are eager to secure cutting-edge AI capabilities, while DeepMind seeks manufacturing and hardware expertise.
