Demi Lovato is opening up about how she and her husband, musician Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, plan to celebrate their first wedding anniversary while physically apart due to their respective touring commitments. The couple, who tied the knot on May 25, 2025, will be on separate tours when their anniversary arrives.
In an exclusive interview, Lovato shared that despite the distance, her love for Jutes continues to deepen daily. "I genuinely believed on my wedding day that I had reached the peak of love for another person," the singer confessed. "But as time passes, we've built an even more intimate and fulfilling connection. I find myself falling more in love every single day."
Lovato attributes their strong bond to shared laughter and genuine friendship. "We stay up late laughing until tears stream down our faces," she mused. "It feels like an endless sleepover with your best friend—who you also happen to be incredibly attracted to."
While Lovato's "It's Not That Deep" tour launches on April 13, temporarily interrupting their daily routines, she emphasized Jutes' unwavering support. "He's been absolutely wonderful throughout all the rehearsals," she noted. "That's truly all I could ask for."
The pop star also revealed her essential travel companions for life on the road, including specific wellness products. "Feeling fresh helps me present my best self, whether I'm in the studio or performing for thousands," Lovato explained. "Those pre-show moments make all the difference."
Despite the physical separation on their special day, Lovato remains optimistic. "Distance has a way of strengthening the heart," she reflected, confident that their first anniversary apart will only reinforce their commitment as they each pursue their artistic passions.
