Denise Richards secured a small victory in her contentious divorce from Aaron Phypers on Monday when a judge granted her request to seal sensitive court documents.
During the hearing, Richards testified in favor of keeping the documents confidential, and the judge ultimately sided with the actress. The ruling comes after a previous decision that ordered Richards to pay Phypers $5,000 per month in spousal support. According to reports, Richards muttered "I can't afford it" when the support order was announced.
Phypers filed for divorce in July, claiming he had no income and seeking support from Richards. He estimated she earns over $250,000 monthly from OnlyFans, brand deals, TV appearances, and other ventures. Richards had also sought spousal support from Phypers, but the judge ruled in his favor.
The sealing of documents marks a procedural win for Richards as the divorce proceedings continue.
