DigiPlus Expands Global Footprint with South African Gaming Licenses

MANILA, Philippines — DigiPlus Interactive Corp., a leading digital entertainment company, has received regulatory clearance to launch operations in South Africa, marking a significant milestone in its international growth strategy.

On Thursday, the company announced it had obtained three crucial licenses from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB): a national manufacturer license, a bookmaker license, and a bookmaker premises license. These approvals grant DigiPlus access to South Africa's largest online gaming market, which the WCGRB oversees and which represents approximately 31% of the nation's online gaming revenue.

"This enables DigiPlus to enter South Africa’s largest online gaming market," the company stated, highlighting the strategic importance of this regulatory achievement.

South Africa's gaming industry is a lucrative and expanding sector, generating an estimated $4.9 billion in revenues in 2025. The country's transparent regulatory environment and advanced digital infrastructure were key factors in DigiPlus's decision to target this market.

This expansion represents the company's second major international venture, following its entry into Brazil, where full commercial operations are slated to begin in the first half of 2026. DigiPlus, known for popular platforms like BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, is actively scaling its digital entertainment offerings worldwide.

The move aligns with the company's long-term vision to capitalize on high-growth international markets and solidify its position within the global gaming industry.
