In a recent disclosure, the company announced it received three licenses from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB): a national manufacturer license, a bookmaker license, and a bookmaker premises license. Western Cape is South Africa's largest online gaming hub, accounting for approximately 31% of national revenues in 2025, supported by robust digital infrastructure.
The South African gaming market generated an estimated $4.9 billion in revenues in 2025, positioning it as an attractive destination for international operators like DigiPlus. This expansion follows the company's entry into Brazil, where it aims to launch full commercial operations in the first half of 2026.
