The Philippine gaming industry experienced a significant revenue boost in 2025, with gross gaming revenues climbing 6.39% to reach P396.14 billion. This growth was primarily driven by a robust performance in online and electronic gaming platforms, which helped offset declines in traditional casino operations.
According to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor), the online and electronic gaming sector generated P201.12 billion in revenue, representing more than half of the industry's total earnings. This segment saw an impressive 30.04% increase compared to the previous year.
While digital platforms flourished, brick-and-mortar casinos faced challenges. Licensed casino revenues dropped 9.58% to P182.5 billion, while Pagcor-operated casinos experienced a more substantial decline of 20.95%, bringing their earnings to P12.52 billion.
The data highlights a continuing shift in the Philippine gaming landscape, with digital platforms becoming increasingly dominant as consumer preferences evolve toward online gaming experiences.
