Britain's Dakota Ditcheva will end a 12-month layoff due to injury when she faces Dutch flyweight Denise Kielholtz at PFL New York on July 31.
Ditcheva broke her hand during her win over Sumiko Inaba in July 2025 and was initially scheduled to fight Kielholtz in February, but the bout was postponed after she sustained another hand injury.
The PFL has rescheduled the fight for the undercard of Usman Nurmagomedov's lightweight title defense against Archie Colgan at UBS Arena in Long Island.
Ditcheva is undefeated in 15 professional fights, with 12 knockouts, and has emerged as one of Britain's most exciting fighters. The 27-year-old won the PFL's 2024 flyweight tournament to become the first British woman to hold an MMA world title.
Kielholtz, 37, is a former kickboxing world champion and has won nine of her 14 MMA fights. Manchester's Ditcheva has won seven of her 10 PFL bouts in the first round.
Nurmagomedov, 28, puts his 22-fight undefeated record on the line in the main event. He made his first lightweight title defense against Britain's Alfie Davis in February. Colgan, 30, is also undefeated in 13 fights, with six stoppage victories.
